Community Air Quality Alert
Stay Informed
Recent land-clearing burns near our neighborhood may cause smoke issues. Large brush piles can smolder for extended periods, impacting air quality. This is especially concerning for those with asthma. We encourage Gretna residents to monitor air conditions and report any issues. For assistance, please reach out to our hotline 402-881-8711
What This Means For Us:
● Increased Traffic: Expect a significant increase in vehicle traffic on 198th / 200th and surrounding streets.
● Overcrowded Schools & Services: More strain on our already busy local schools, infrastructure, and emergency services.
● Neighborhood Encroachment: The current zoning laws allow for all of these to be built 10 feet off the property line. Our neighbors in Covington and Northridge Estates may end up with new neighbors literally IN their backyards.
